Our Mission Statement | Know. Love. Serve.
Our Mission | Globally
Our goal is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the uttermost parts of the earth. Grace supports over 20 home mission projects and reaches over 30 different nations.
The Grace Mission: The Grace Mission is a group of families from Grace Baptist Church who are ministering in Tanzania, Africa. Every ministry of The Grace Mission is done with a desire to bring glory to God and make His name known. We believe that the Lord has chosen His church to be the light in these communities.
Church Planting: Grace Baptist Church has been a part of many church plants, including the recent Redeemer Community Church in Loveland, Ohio. Our desire is to start more churches locally and globally.
Our Mission | Locally
We want each member of Grace to be a missionary to their community spreading the truth of God's redemptive plan to all they come in contact with.
Our Biblical Counseling ministry is aimed at helping people see and solve life"s problems through the lens of Scripture.
Grace Counseling Ministry is available for members and non-members of Grace Baptist Church. If your are interested in our Biblical Counseling please contact our Counseling Scheduler Donna Miller to get connected.
Our Story | GBC History
In 1979, Grace Baptist Church in Middletown, Ohio had a burden to begin a church plant and launched Grace Baptist Church of Mason, Ohio. The first building they rented was the historic one room schoolhouse on Route 741. After a few years, the small congregation moved to the Grange Hall on Mason-Montgomery Road. In 1985, the congregation invited Jerry Pelfrey to become their Pastor. In 1987, they moved into the old Mason Middle School until 1989 when they held their first service on their own property on Mason Road. Jerry remains as the Lead Pastor and is joined by fellow pastors, Jeff Heslop, Kyle Linville, and Brian Claprood.
